Effective January 5, 2025, the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe (HSTT) has expanded its role through a new municipal contract with the Town of Truckee to oversee shelter operations, veterinary services, and community outreach. This partnership is designed to address our community’s growing needs, elevate animal care, and broaden program availability, including low-cost spay/neuter clinics and pet wellness initiatives.
